Since episode 110 of Green Lantern the Animated Series, “Regime Change” seemed to go over so well with the fans, I thought I’d post the color keys done once again by our talented staff of designers!

awww yay! I’m glad GC posted these because I don’t think…. I…. would dare…. hahaha! I did all of the keys for when Betrassus gets all blued out (all of the last 3 rows except for the final key), and like two from right before. (row 4, column 3; r5, c2)

hey! hmm that’s a hard question to answer. I feel like I just use default brushes? I do like using photoshop’s pencil tool a lot!! it lets me flood-fill things when I’m playing around with colors, which is good for me because it is FAST and i am LAZY. boy am i lazy, and boy do I change my mind about colors a lot.
i hope these screenshots work… this is a pretty typical setting i use when i draw with the pencil tool.
(of course, now that I look at the stuff on this blog, it seems not a lot of it was even drawn with this tool… or… even digitally at all!!!! SO I don’t know! I basically use default photoshop brushes and sometimes tweak the angle or scatter… sometimes after I’m done I overlay some textures.)

Green Lantern the Animated Series Lighting Keys!
I thought these lighting keys from episode 106 would be awesome to show. Our talented designers paint these scenes to indicate how we want them lit. As you can see, the finished picture looks remarkably similar to the concepts.
Once again, proof that even CG series require DRAWINGS and PAINTINGS!

I did some of these keys! it is really hard to tell you which ones though LOL. mostly just the stuff that’s in space. (the top row? :D) maybe I will ask around and see if I can post some more of the work I did on Green Lantern soon. it was a really fun show to work on!
I’m excited to see all the rest of the eps air, and excited for when Amethyst airs too! I feel like I know a lot of people who’d be really into the Amethyst shorts. :D
